At Sands Flooring Maintenance Services we highly recommend using Hot Water Extraction carpet cleaning in order to guarantee a really clean carpet while protecting your carpet’s fibers. Other commercial carpet cleaning methods can leave detergent and soil residue in the carpet, or through the brushing action damage the carpet fibers, shorten the life of your carpet and void your carpet warranty.
Hot Water Extraction carpet cleaning, (often referred to as 'steam' cleaning) is the commercial carpet cleaning method recommended by most carpet manufacturers and carpet fibre producers.
In Hot Water Extraction carpet cleaning, after pre-spraying the carpet with a cleaning solution, (such as Sands Green Cleaning Solution) a fine mist of very hot water (not steam) is sprayed on your carpet. When the vapour steam touches the cold carpet surface it expands the fibres loosening any dirt, grease and grime which is then picked up by the attached vacuum.
Hot Water Extraction carpet cleaning is the only commercial carpet cleaning method classified as ‘deep cleaning’. Other methods, such as Spin Bonnet or Rotary Cleaning, are considered ‘light surface cleaning’ because they don’t use an extraction process and are not capable of removing soil and detergent deep in the carpet pile.
Along with the proper cleaning methods, you also need to use the right cleaning solution. Sands Green Cleaning Solution eliminates any risk of a sticky residue.
For commercial carpet stain removal we recommend Sands Green Clean Spotter, a concentrated version of Sands Green Cleaning Solution. Contact us for a free sample.
